About this form

IR102 registers a voluntary child support agreement between a receiving carer and a liable parent so Inland Revenue can administer the payments.

When to use this form

Use IR102 when both parties agree on the amount and want Inland Revenue to collect and pass on the payments, or when changing an existing voluntary agreement.

What you will need

• Both parties’ IRD numbers, contact details and signatures
• The children’s details and agreed payment amounts
• The receiving carer’s bank account and the agreement start date

How to complete it

Complete the current IR102, attach any separate written agreement, have both parties sign and send the form as directed.
