About this form

Use IR129 if you do not want IRD to collect some or all current or outstanding child support or domestic maintenance owed to you by one liable person. This does not itself cancel ongoing child support.

Important points

• Complete a separate form for each liable person
• Specify the amounts or dates that IRD should continue to collect, if any
• Once payments are written off through IRD, you cannot later ask IRD to collect them; private or court recovery rights may remain
